Yesterday, we had an incredible family outing to the Detroit Zoo to visit their spectacular dinosaur exhibit, and my two toddler sons had an absolute blast! This exhibit is a must-see for any family with young dinosaur enthusiasts.
As soon as we arrived, the boys were thrilled to see the life-sized dinosaur models strategically placed throughout the exhibit. The realistic designs and sounds brought these ancient creatures to life, captivating the imaginations of my little ones. They ran from one dinosaur to the next, wide-eyed and full of excitement.

- Interactive Displays
- The exhibit features several interactive displays where kids can learn about different dinosaur species. My sons loved pressing buttons to hear the roars and calls of the dinosaurs. It was both educational and entertaining.
- Dino Dig
- One of the boys’ favorite parts was the Dino Dig area. They got to play paleontologist, digging through the sand to uncover hidden dinosaur bones. This hands-on activity was perfect for toddlers and kept them engaged for quite some time.
- Walking with Dinosaurs
- The walking path through the exhibit was stroller-friendly, making it easy for us to navigate. Along the way, we encountered various dinosaurs in different habitats, which provided a fantastic visual experience and great photo opportunities.
- Friendly Staff
- The staff at the exhibit were wonderful. They were patient with the kids and answered all of their curious questions about the dinosaurs. Their enthusiasm and knowledge added an extra layer of enjoyment to our visit.
The dinosaur exhibit at the Detroit Zoo is truly a fantastic experience for families with young children. My sons had an unforgettable day filled with learning, adventure, and fun. If you have little ones who love dinosaurs, this exhibit is definitely worth a visit. We can’t wait to go back and explore more of what the Detroit Zoo has to offer!
